MacRumors reviews the new CalDigit TS3 Thunderbolt 3 dock

Eric Slivka of MacRumors.com published a comparison of the new CalDigit TS3 Thunderbolt 3 dock, and the existing TS3 Lite model. The major difference between the two is that the Lite does not power or charge the laptop (it delivers 15W, which may trickle-charge your laptop). The TS3 however does; and delivers up to 85W.

It’s definitely worth reading the review, but we feel it could’ve been made more clear that the CalDigit TS3 is currently the only dock that sports eSATA ports. Have a look at the review: CalDigit’s Docks Offer Solid MacBook Pro Expansion Options

The CalDigit TS3 Lite is currently on sale at Amazon.
